It provides musicians with tools to help spread their music to a wider audience than the one they typically would reach.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://http://music.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music"&gt;Myspace Music&lt;/a&gt; is part of the general &lt;a href="http://www.myspace.com"&gt;Myspace community&lt;/a&gt;.  It is fully integrated with the individual Myspace, and serves as a forum for unsigned, indie label, and major label bands.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This analysis of the community is based upon the readings covered in the &lt;a href="http://jomc191.blogsome.com"&gt;Fall 2005 Virtual Communities Class&lt;/a&gt; at the &lt;a href="http://www.unc.edu"&gt;University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill&lt;/a&gt;.
