It provides musicians with tools to help spread their music to a wider audience than the one they typically would reach.<br /><br /><a href="http://http://music.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music">Myspace Music</a> is part of the general <a href="http://www.myspace.com">Myspace community</a>. It is fully integrated with the individual Myspace, and serves as a forum for unsigned, indie label, and major label bands.<br /><br />This analysis of the community is based upon the readings covered in the <a href="http://jomc191.blogsome.com">Fall 2005 Virtual Communities Class</a> at the <a href="http://www.unc.edu">University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill</a>.
